Most of the land in our development scheme is in the ownership of Bartons.
Some land is let, and some land is outside the boundary. We are
in discussions to ensure this land can come forward too.
Our plan has two main phases to take account of land availability.
We can develop most of the north and south western part of the plan
relatively quickly.
Our planning application was submitted in September
2007 and we hope to gain an approval within four to six months. We
will prepare a detailed master plan and design guidelines once we
have outline planning permission to co-ordinate the implementation
of the plan. We then propose to work up our plans and prepare detailed
designs for the first buildings.
As the major landowner, Bartons intend to take
an active part in delivering the proposals and
we may develop parts of the scheme as well as bringing in specialist
developers too.
